FTP / Sockets de Trois v1. Trojan Horse.
Anyone got any ideas?
I’ve a client who says that they can no longer connect via FTP (windows server)– I’ve done the usual ….. Port 21 . PASV etc… but they say that the problems have started since they installed virus software – which keeps reporting Sockets de Trois v1. Trojan Horse. I've even logged on myself and uploaded a file to test it out - and my virus kit didn't report any problems. They are using aceFTP and I’m certain (even though I haven’t asked Brad / Vortech) that the system isn’t infected with a virus – seems a conflict / in correct setting on their part to me. Anyone had similar / or have some advice? Thanks in advance
