DNS forced update
Is there any way to force nameserver to update itself to the latest DNS info from the second nameserver? (e.g with nslookup.exe of windows)
Let me explain... When I add a 3rd level domain, h-sphere updates dns info to both resellers nameservers (ns & ns1). But when I add second 3rd level domain (or a domain I guess) some minutes later, h-sphere updates only my secondary nameserver (ns1). After propagation of DNS servers worldwide, ns (primary) never updates itself from second one... Maybe it's a bug. So is there a way to force ns server to update to latest info? Thanks in advance |

It would be very nice to be able to restart bind or something.
I always have to wait 24-48 to be able to access a domain name that I've just assigned a folder too. I don't understand why it takes that long since it's all a matter of internal wiring (no change of nameservers). Same goes when creating a subdir. |
