I know the drop downs are not going to work in IE Mac, Opera 7 and Netscape 4 but you can click the buttons as they do show up.

We had this problem with our old Vortechhosting.com design but we did not have a way to click the button or link before the drop down. So this in a way is better then the old design but we have tried all kinds of drop downs 90% of them done work in Mac, Opera 7 and Netscape 4 any way..

The drop downs some what work in NS7 but they seem to go behind the flash in NS7..

Visiting here again makes me realize how much I hate flash!!!

Suggestion: Ditch the Flash on the forrum pages. We don't need to see it all the time.

I agree with you. Flash has nothing to do in the forums, it just slows everything down.

This simple anim consumes more than 10% of a P4-2.6. It's just a waste imo. It's nice for promo, but not really usefull for support.
Maybe we should send Flash in support tickets and ask all our customers to upgrade now. That will make the manufacturers happy

Imagine the impact of this banner on an iBook ;P

I like the flash,,were keeping it.
It is 2003, if Flash slows your machine down you really need to get a better PC.

If 10% affects you that much, an upgrade is in order. BTW, do you ever have anything positive to say?? Seriously.

I'd rather use those 10% to help research on cancer than to animate some Flash logo...but that's a matter of personal taste I agree with you.

And yes, I tend to make remarks about the negative sides, because it usually helps people to know that there are problems. Some people have already said that it was nice. I agree, this is clean looking but full of bugs I could just walk away and laugh, but I think you can do better, so I just tell you what went wrong. If you want to stay with a broken interface, that's your choice and I respect that as it does not affect me. I was just trying to help...in my way

I can understand trying to help but I have never seen you say anything positive. That is why I asked.

BTW, no need to get offended.

Did I sound offended? I'm not, but I know that I can irritate people with my attitude.

If you look carefully, you'll see that I congratulate Vortech when you do some good moves

BTW, With win98 on IE6 and flash6, I never see higher than 22% at any time loading the page, and then when it is all loaded and I leave the animation spinning, not higher than 1%, and this is on a 700Mhz PC. Now at work on a 2.2Ghz,with more ram, with WinXP it hovers around 6% CPU Usage, another reason for me not to like XP.

I noticed the same problem, I think it looks great but it makes my movie choppy How about a "stop animation" or "pause" button? That would probably make everyone happy
