The following servers are still being upgraded:

NT:
23,26,30,38,39,40,41,42,43,46,49,50

CF:
3

We'll let you know when these servers are done. If you're having trouble with one of the servers that is already complete, please submit a trouble ticket and we'll do our best to get it resolved as soon as possible.

I have a client site that just shows a 403 forbidden error. I haven't logged into his account for a long time, so I don't remember what server he is on. I am pretty sure it is Unix though.

Can you look into it? Domain: toengesoandp.com.

Thanks!

Due to the upgrade, some of the permissions for the Unix servers were messed up. The techs are aware of the issue.

Anyone know of issues on NT1 at the moment? Got 2 domains down for 1+ hours now. I have an open ticket on this, but maybe someone already knows?

Thanks VT for all the great work with the upgrades etc.!

update:

We are aware of some sites still being down, this is due to the way permissions are done now in 2.5 and seems to be causing some issues.

If you server was said to be complete and your site is down you may submit a ticket to have a tech check it out. If the server is not listed here then it's either still upgrading or we are already working on it. This will take some time to fix as we said in our email this is a huge upgrade.

We're disabling apache restarts on the unix boxes until we can find out why it keeps modifying permissions. Changes made in Web Options will be very slow to take affect while its disabled.

Is there any update for the Windows servers that are also down? I have clients on servers that have been down for several hours now. Since the sites are totally gone, it also means that the mail servers are gone. Of course, even people with sites that are not maintained daily still get their email so, believe me, each and every client is vitally aware that their site is down.

It would be really helpful if we can look at least a little bit intelligent when talking to our clients and some shared information would go a long way in helping in that direction.

So far all we really know is there is permission problems on the *nix boxes. But, of course, permissions are handled differently on Windows servers. Why are some up and some down? All we need is a little shared info from one tech person. I think that is a fair request, right?

Steve
