Check out "smartermail" recently tried it and am throughly impressed with functionality/price.

I have also used Visnetic MailServer reliably for several years.

"hmailserver" is also an option (it is free) but might still be a little young.

On linux, Scalix is absolutley incredible, great Outlook integration and very solid.

Good Luck
Paul

Smartermail is a pretty good product, mailenable has a free version which may work for you, and I'd also put in a vote for hMailserver.
