I am having issues with mail11 when i send emails, either on 25 or 2525, they never leave my outbox, but the email get's delivered, several times, to the recipient. This is using outlook 2003

Some customers are having thsi same issue. I have created an account an tested but could not reproduce the errror. I could delivered without problems with Outlook express.

I had issues about an hour ago with sending mail from mail11 but it seems to be working now. fingers crossed. just moved the client to this server, problems already.

I submitted a ticket but it hasn't received a response yet.

The original problem was that the emails were sitting in the outbox and never leaving although they were getting delivered over and over.

Untill now I have just been dealing with my client's problems on mail7 but now my email on mail8 is getting error meassages with Outlook and I am unable to access @mail.

I have a client on mail8 who can't access email as well. You go to the mail manager, and the page stops loading right at where all the email accounts are supposed to get listed.

I have a client domain with several email accounts that all started recieving this error message. They are using Outlook 2003.
- Receiving' reported error (0x800CCC92) : 'Your e-mail server rejected your login. Verify your user name and password in your account properties. Under Tools, click E-mail accounts. The server responded: -ERR authorization failed' -

Will someone please start addressing theses issues ?
I have contacted tech support - and OPEN requests upwards of 4 hours old.
Stop telling me there are no problems on your end.
I DON'T CARE WHATS HAPPENING ON YOUR END.
I KNOW MAIL IS NOT WORKING BECAUSE MY CUSTOMERS ARE SCREAMING AT ME.
I SEND TEST MESSAGES - AND THEY EVAPORATE - WHERE IS MY MAIL !!!!!!
MAIL IS DOWN. (x 108)

Thumbs down Multiple servers are down

Please update us.

I have clients calling ... same problems as before. MAIL7!!!
Also Control panels are down. Seems like a 25 server crash!
Clients from other servers are reporting problems that I remember are not on mail7, however since I cannot log into the Control panel, I cannot tell you what servers they are on.

We need answers. Please update us ASAP. I know you need to work on it, but if we loose clients, you loose our business as well.

This is beyond anything acceptable.

My 2 cents

I registered just to address this issue. I realize all the techs are working feverishly and probably feel real beaten up now. I sympathize.


However the lack of correct consistent information is troubling. Every day or so there is a post from Vortech that says "Ok all is fixed" and within minutes I am getting the same complaints. I realize these spammere are shifty but other host companies deal with them. If this is a problem you cannot solve then get help. If this cost us $ I am willing to pay. Someone has to know the answer. To repeatedly tell us the issue is resolved only to have another attack occur does not strenthen my faith.


If you dont know what to do tell us. Outline a plan and keep us informed. I know tech cannot be on the forum but maybe some manager can be. Is an update 4-5 times per day too much to ask?
I have great customers and so far have not lost one, but I do not blame them if they leave. From their point of view it looks like MouseWise.net cant handle their email request and does not know what to do. We dont but believed Voretech could handle these problems. I have no intentions of moving my clients. Vortech has treated me so well in the past and I am so pleased that this incident only begins to make a dent in my feelings of goodwill. Vortech could really boost my confidence if they just posted more. Keep the resellers informed several times a day and you will see less angst on the board.


Whatever it takes to permanently resolve this problem please do so, even if it causes a raise in prices. Most importantly keep us informed of all the details then we have something to tell our clients.

Have you considered offering the spammers a bribe to attack someone else this worked for the Anglo-Saxons angainst the Danes.

My last update from the techs was mail8 is now stable and spamd was removed from it for the time being. Mail7 had some issues and should also be stable now.

It seems to be never ending with these higher mail servers. We are doing everything we can to get them right, it's just hard with 2 under attack, then one freaked out hardware wise. This has been a really bad week.

This is still not fixed! Mail is being refused from INSIDE vortech now. I received an email last night with the subject "Warning: could not send message for past 4 hours". The email was coming from cp.hsphere.cc and headed to my account on mail7! I received two of this, but not this one yetand it has been over 12 hours since cp.hsphere.cc sent it.

dude... stop being a tool!

i know you are the only vortech customer with clients, but don't waste my time making me scroll to the end of your temper tantrum to see if there is a valid point anywhere. Spend more time managing your clients and less time copying and pasting in here -- man i hope you copied and pasted...

find the other posts commenting on high percentage uptimes spanning in some cases years.

votech will do right by all of us, give them time.
