@Mail Issues

Hello all,

I have some customers that really need to use webmail every minute, and it is offline for more than 30 minutes. This is not the first @Mail's issue, wich makes me think that maybe there is a better solution. What do you guys have to say?

Thank you.

If you are having an issue then I would recommend submitting a TT. The techs monitor the tickets more closely than posts made here.

You could also install another email solution for your clients on your service domain, anything with IMAP support should work well .. SquirrelMail, Horde, OpenWebmail etc etc. The only problem with doing this is that the links in your customers control panel would still link to @mail.

I think it's a good solution.. but how to deal with more than one email server (hostnames)?

I am going to get matt to upgrade the @mail system ASAP. We installed CF1 but I don't think we will need it for some time as there is only 80 sites using CF total right now.. So I think we may pull the CF1 box out and make it in to the new @mail box.

@mail right now is on just dual PIII 1000's with 1 or 2 gig of ram. We will be taking that to a dual xeon 2.4 with 1 or 2 gig of ram. I think its more CPU then ram since its all perl.
