Question Email ticket notification

I just got my account up and running. I set everything up and all is going smoothly. The one thing I can't do is have a trouble ticket sent to my external e-mail account. When I create a ticket from my service plan account, I receive it in my admin account without a problem, but I want to receive e-mail notification and an alert to my pcs phone.

I have done the following, but it still doesn't work:

Login to Adminstrative Account
Settings
Mail Settings
Ticket Copy
Added the addresses where I want to receive copies of the ticket

I have scoured the boards and I can't find an answer... Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

Sounds like what you've done is correct actually. Are you sure the external email your trying to send it too is working properly at the moment ?

Checked and double checked...

I have verified that my email is correct. I have deleted the e-mail and re-entered it, all to no avail.

You might need to submit a trouble ticket then and provide as much info as you can about where the email was going roughly what time it was sent etc, possibly then one of the tech can check through logs to see if bounced. Have you checked your service domain email account to make sure it hasn't bounced back to one of your vortech mailboxes ?

working now...

I put in a trouble ticket and there was an issue with the way it was routing through the mail server... The way it was set up was the proper way to do it.

Thanks!
