we have a lot of these happened in office, but one i like:

Me:Hello, how may i help you?
client: Hello sir, we have a great problem.
Me:OK,
client: we cant connect to our email.
Me: could you please tell me your email address?
client: hmmm, info@****
Me: ok, hold on please... (I check its domain stat, and its running well, also pop3 and smtp is working fine.), sir, what is your exact problem? i cant see any issue here...
client: hmmm, my sun told me he cant connect to email. its all that i know.
Me:Sir, you should get an error, like page not found or error page, or ...
client: errrr, i think i should tell my sun to call you, is it ok?
Me:no problem
.....


3 minutes later:
....
sun: i am ..., sun of ... I belive he called you erlier regarding its issues.
me: yes, but he told me that cant connect to its mail, whats the exact problem?
sun: hmmm, we cant connect to email, it gives us cant connect to your mail server.
me: ?!! where do you get this error? in IE?
sun: whats IE?
me: Internet explorer, the window you open to surf the net (!!)
sun: yes, exactly there.
me: do you get an alert that notify you to get connected or work offline?
sun: exactly, we get this error many times, when we need to connect to mail.xxx.xxx (!!!)
me: i think you dont have any internet connection running on your computer. please check that. are using adsl? (!!!)
sun: no we use telephone line. aren't you the internet provider??
