NT21 will be going down again shortly--we'll be checking it for hardware problems since there have been several unexplained crashes over the last few days.

(That date should be read as the 10th for those located east of EST.)

I'll be bringing the machine up in about 15 minutes. The forum regulars get one guess at the nature of the problem.

NT21 is stable and running on one CPU at the moment, the other having been taken out for lack of a useable fan. The heatsink mounts weren't quite the right shape for the types of sink in stock at the datacentre and I wasn't about to take the box apart without notice to replace those too.

We'll let you know when the machine will be taken down for full repair. What it will do for now is quit crashing.
