wow, was there a major calamity at the matrix compound this morning? that was the longest time with absolutely nothing for as long as i can remember...and the status page appears to be still suffering...

any details on what took place? Because i would like to distribute an announcement to my customers and spin it to an improvement issue...

Are you talking about this status page?? http://status.vortechhosting.com:8080/ It looks all green to me. I even called Brad after seeing your post and he said nothing has been down to his knowledge. So, can you clue me in?? I am lost.

Around 2am cogent did some work. We sent out a notic about a few days ago.. But it only lasted about 2 min or so before it switched over to epik/level(3)..

We saw a similar problem. I was at a client's office this morning to sell some web dev and hosting, and he wanted to see some of the sites we did.

Each web site that we hosted was down at around 10:30am EST for some time.

Talk about embarrassing. Well, we got the dev work but not the hosting.

Nothing was down here around 10:30am today. I was on and everything was green when I came in to the office and has been green all day.. Only thing that poped up was a mssql3 reboot..

The entire internet is screwing up BIG time... but not matrix. I have noticed service issues with Comcast, At&t, earthlink, aol and others... allot of email issues.

Someone needs to check the backbone status me thinks.

wow.. that was incredibly wierd... all my clients sites were down for over 2 hours...other sites around the web were just fine... i could not get to anything vortech/matrix or otherwise...and up until just a minute or so ago.. the status page was either down or had an IP monitor error message... very strange.. if anyone has any more info on just what was going on, please post...

You are using the incorrect URL. The correct URL is http://status.vortechhosting.com:8080 NOT stats.vortechhosting.com:8080 That explains part of the problem.

Sounds like a routing issue or something because we have been up all day except for the 2 mins last night during the planned maintenance by Cogent. I am outside of the network they utilize at the office, therefore I would definitely notice if everything was down. Besides, I am pretty sure the ipMonitor is outside of the network. If I am wrong about that, I am sure someone will correct me.

We had a similar problem this morning. Only one client reported a problem - no connectivity - at the same time, but I was out of the office and unable to check on it at the time.

Weird. Oh, well. Life on the net!

mysql1/unix8 for me has had a few complaints today, looking at forum generations times of my customers site I have to agree simply pages are taking sometimes 15 or so seconds to generate.
