Hello Everyone,
Unix15 is experiencing some unexpected downtime because apache needs to be re-installed with suexec. It seems that as apache started to rotate the logs this issue came up. We'll keep you updated on its progress. Sorry for any inconveniences, but we are working diligently to remedy the issue. Have a nice day.

unix15 is up ATM. We will be monitoring the server in case apache decides to quit again. Zend Optimizer has been disabled for the time being as it is known to cause issues with apache. I apologize for inconvenience this may cause to anyone who has files that depend on the optimizer.

SuExec was enabled at my last host and it caused mayhem with some of my PHP apps. It not being enabled was one of the reasons why I moved here. If for any reason you choose to enable it on the CPanel machines will you notify us beforehand? Also if you did choose to would there be any chance that you would keep one of the machines with it off and only customers that had a good track record with Matrix could be on there? I understand why hosts enable it for security reasons but I don't want to move as I like it here

We do not plan to enable it ever.

It is part of the way Hsphere runs and we cannot disable it in Hsphere.

Are you disabling zend opt thinking it caused the problem?
