"No host entry 61" Problem ( ?)
We were creating a new account through the reseller CP and received the error of:
Failed to add Account XXXXXX No host entry 61. Administrator should probably apply changes in logical servers configuration Sounds like something beyond my fixing Will post the support call #, but now appears that the CP is either slow or not responding. ------------------ Support call is 30167. Reporting this here since it sounds like something that probably needs attention fairly quickly.

Sorry ... won't happen again ... Since it seemed to be
rather important (network wide) thought you folks would see it quicker here than hours later on a support call. Will have to review posts to see what the difference between mentioning this issue and ... http://www.matrixwebhosting.net/foru...&threadid=2883 http://www.matrixwebhosting.net/foru...&threadid=2809 http://www.matrixwebhosting.net/foru...&threadid=2806 http://www.matrixwebhosting.net/foru...&threadid=2800

There is no difference just we have asked and asked that user put in a ticket for things like this, but then everyone comes and posts it only makes 2x the work for us to do. We really don't need that.
If you think we may see the post first sure you can post it does not mean I will answer you as this is really not the place to let us know a server is down. Tickets are the best way for many reasons. BTW I am not picking on you it just bugs me it happens so much.. ![]()

Fully understand.
Think the tendancy to post some issues that have been reported to support is due to the feedback the forum supplies. After submitting a support ticket it might take a few hours for a reply. (don't get me wrong ... not a bad thing). But when a post is made here, you folks seem to reply right back with things like ... "yea we know ... there is a problem with XXXXX ...." -or- "We're re-booting that and it should be back up soon ..." For many of us, just seeing that let's us know what is going on and gives us something to report back to end customers. Especially on issues affecting a number of customers. This is not a slam of the support desk, just an opinion as to why these types of posts are made. Quote:

Yea I see your point.. Just makes more work for us..
![]() Best thing to do is put in a ticket and if you want post but can't say we will always reply. Then when you do get a reply from us update your post so we don't have to do it.. But that never seems to happen.. ![]()
