Hi and welcome plan9,
It was a little overwhelming for me at first. Your best friend will be the H-Sphere documentation at http://vortechhosting.com/hsphere/re...tml/index.html You can get to all of the H-Sphere documentation on Vortech's support page. your next best friend will be these forums. There are many helpful people that post here and I have never been flamed for asking stupid questions. Wishing you the best with your hosting! hground |

Yeah welcome aboard.
Have a look here for all the different docs: http://vortechhosting.com/hsphere/ And Like hground said feel free to ask questions on the forum, we're all happy to help. If you get really stuck you can submit a ticket too. The techs are really good, and reply quite quickly. support@vortechsupport.com |

IMHO, the biggest thing people have regrets over is not understanding the difference between their service domain and their admin domain. Peruse the docs a couple of times to get the differences in your head before you get to the point of designating name servers.
Edit: Plan9 - the movie or the OS?

Quote:
Bell Labs also developed an operating system called Plan 9 (after the movie) which is pretty cool. Rethinks the concept of an OS from the ground up. No concept of a central kernal managing devices. Very networking oriented. Was supposed to be the "next great OS" and replace unix but they dropped it and now it's open source.

Don't forget the Plan9 record store. (Maybe that is only here.)
