You guys would be unhappy too if one of your core offerings is MS programming with SQL Server 2005. Hmm... kinda hard to program with .net 2.0 when you don't have the reseller backup. Ain't it?

And for your information, I already did get jodohost. While I'm not really happy with the service there, it's better than this... of course I'll just go to the Hsphere/psoft website and look at another reseller. Of course, this hanging by the thread over here has gotten a bit old but I thought I'd give them a week or 2 but.. yet again.. tomorrow has come and gone.

IMHO, if he and some of the other heavy hitters/posters had
knocked Vortech a little more, rather than trying to defend what
was clearly a ridiculous situation, it would would have improved/corrected
a long time ago.

Personally wasn't looking for an apology your entitled to your opinion. If you'd actually looked more into it though you'd have found most of us here including myself had been asking for it, and even speaking with Vortech one on one about it looking for answers.

However we were also clearly told by Brad time and time over that nothing would happen until the upgrade had been implemented and had time to bed in which after most large upgrades is usually anywhere from 4-6 weeks and shockingly enough it's now about that time past the upgrade and we're starting to see .NET2 ... so as far as I'm concerned Vortech didn't need any any extra encouragement to do what they said they would do all along and once again Brad has delivered what he promised.

First of all, Vortech has done it again.
I'm still looking good in the eyes of my customers.
I will say though that Exchange or a different mail service would help too, but I'm cool with net2 for now. I'm also local and like to use the local guys whenever possible, so Vortech are my people and I don't need to shop for another host just for 2.0.

As for us resellers, (keep in mind, I mean this respectfully) flexing your voice and applauding the reaction are both very valid, but I think we all need to just be happy 2.0 is here and shut up

For anyone reading this thread for information (as opposed to what it's become), simply send in a ticket for the domain you'd like moved over to the new .net 2.0 nt machine. I've heard that nothing changes, it's just your same setup in a new environment...I'll let you know how my switchover goes. I had no .net 1.1, so it'll probably be an easy move.

Like I said, I'll let you know.
