Dsl...

I run a bandwidth test sometimes before I go to the forum.

I had a bit of a surprise tonight ....

"Your current bandwidth reading is:
4.37 Mbps

which means you can download at 558.94 KB/sec. from our servers.

<snip>
1500 kbps DSL/T1/Cable Modem
4471.5 kbps YOU"

I can't decide if I have 3 T1's or one-tenth of a T3 running through my DSL copper telephone wires. LOL

(I don't understan... A retest only gave me 1.39Mbps... I gotta call and complain to my DSL provider... LOL)

Did you empty your Temporary Internet Files / Cache before doing the test? If not, that will often mess up those sorts of tests.
