NT26 HardDrive issue.

NT26 is having a new drive put in now, We will then copy the data over to the new drive and set permissions so everyone comes back up, then we will set permissions on each user.

You will need to turn asp.net off and back on once the server is back up as it will not add those permissions back for us.

I will give an update again as soon as I have something.

NT15, NT17 and NT18 are up and runing. This is not the post for them, this is only for NT26.

NT26 restoring as fast as it can. It will take time. As it gets to your dir. it will come up it has already restored about 100 users and is moving as fast as it can.

Some of our sites have come back but all of our ASP sites are still down... any idea when these will be back up and running, we are dying in the water here?

Maybe we could get an update like: "...the restore operation is currently at (X) accounts, of (Y) total accounts on this drive..."

Please give us an estimate or some information as to what is going on, we are desperate to hear some news on the current conditions and estimates on repair... this is really going to kill off 50% or more of our business at this point!

The restore is still going, its up to user kingkat so its in the k's its still going, like I said as it gets to them it will bring them back up.

Moving files over samba is slower than unix and SSH. It would have been done by now on SSH.

Brad, if you are on user Kingkat why are some of our sites for ESSVAdmin still down? Is there another issue here we need to get on top of to get these sites back online right now?
