NT10 Check Disk
NT10 will be down for a bit, it had some errors on D drive and is running check disk now, this will take about an hour, we skiped check disk once but saw some errors, so we would like to wait for it finish to be sure the drive is in good running order.
Check disk can take any where from 45 min to 1.5 hours to run. Sorry just no way to make it any faster.

Hey Brad,
I noticed Hybodus monitor correctly shows issues with NT10, however the XML feed (and therefore my customer's version of it) does not. Showing everything up and fine. Something you might want to look at in the near future as time allows. Thanks

How much longer will the disk check take.Because I am getting complaints from my customers.

It was at 77% of 4 of 5 about 15 min ago. It's taking it's sweet time.

The chkdsk process is at 80% complete on step 4 of 5. At this rate it should be done within the next hour. Chkdsk has fixed a ton of errors on the drive, so it really needed this.

Why don't we get emails to notify us of such outages... I've had 2 customers complain, and had to "go and find" the answer, rather than having the details emailed to me by vortech...

We have always used the forum, if you would like to know ANY time there is an issue you can use this link http://forum.vortechhosting.com/subs...bscription&f=6 it will Subscribe you to This Forum and you will get an email any time we post anything here.
A lot of users do this because the forum is the best place for us to post outages and things could change and this way you can stay up todate on the issue. We only use the mailing list for planned outages and such.

Sites Online Now
Greetings,
The chkdsk has completed and the server is back online now. All customer sites should be back online. We are still in the process of fixing permissions for user accounts. This process takes around four hours. |
