Mail box setup

I have setup a mail plan and signed up for the plan myself (no billing of course

I would like to people to be able to sign up for an email box through a web form on my site and then pass the web form information to hsphere. Resulting in creation of their email account.

Where would I find information on if this is possible and instuctions on the variables that would need to be passed....help please

Have you already looked through the HSphere User Signup Customization guide? That info should get you started.

If you want to use the XML API found in the developer's guide, it hasn't been enabled yet.

Question

Has anybody had any succes with this - other than using the brick - or anything similr

What I actually want to do is allow people to get an email address at one of my sites automatically. ie if they sign up as members to the site they have the option of requesting an email address for the site based on their member id

Thats right, Vortech also has a slightly customised mail install too so don't necessarily expect the API to work exactly as documented too (although for the most part it will probably work 100%)

As i recall, vortech doens't allow public use of the the mailservers, ie you cannot give out email accounts like that, unless they are customers with thier own control panel account...

Otherwise look for email scripts that offer public email address @yourdomain.com, just requires one catch all email and a database and some scripts. I know a very good one, if you want just pm me.
