Well you don't. The whole point of a secondary/tertiary nameserver is that it synchronizes itself. Secondary nameservers should automatally refresh their data at the interval defined in the SOA record (REFRESH). With HSphere this seems to default to around 3 hours. So my additional servers shoulud every 3 hours go and do a zone data reload from the master.

Not really no, when a refresh occurs it takes litterally no more than a second or so.

Why? Like you said in your previous post, The primary is the one thats important. When you add a subdomain the primary will be updated nearly instantly, the secondary's are guaranteed to be updated in no more than 3 Hours (less if you change the SOA REFRESH value).
As it stands, when adding a subdomain you may have to wait 24 hours for your ISP to pick it up, in that time, your secondary nameservers could have synced with the primary 8 times already!
