To Err is Human
That just reminded me, years ago in some of the early electronic drum machines a friend of mine had (I'm sure current ones probably still do this) .. there was a feature that would allow you to make them randomly be off beat or just play slightly wrong. By introducing these random errors into the drum machine it was supposed to make them sound more human like.
