Your Total Signup Charge Equals 0.00?

Hi,

I just completed integration of Authorize.net into our secured HSphere control panel, put in a test order and got the following confirmation message for our Silver Unix plan setup correctly at $9.95

Your Total Signup Charge Equals 0.00 (look at screenshot-a for the page)

And when I went into the online invoice (screenshot-b) to see what the heck was going on I saw that the client was charged correctly but the invoice looked a little odd.

So my questions are:

Is it normal for the control panel do give a confirmation with $0.00

Is the online invoice correct and if so can someone explain what it's doing.

Thanks for the help,

Alex DeBarros

maybe it's talking about the actual signup charge, you know the one time service charge to set up an account. That does seem a little awkward though that it says that with no mention of the actual charge made.

Oh, and you may want to double check that hosting is taxable in your state. It's unclear sometimes what is and what isn't taxable.

you should probably keep this in your original thread rather than starting a new one.

Try a google search - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...ting+taxable%3F

or contact your local taxing authority or board of equalization - they probably have a web site that can tell you more. Perhaps you can start here - http://www.ct.gov/

*edit - in fact, here is your answer - http://www.ct.gov/drs/cwp/view.asp?a=1477&Q=269930&drsPNavCtr=|40829|#40952

"services rendered in connection with the creation, development, hosting or maintenance of all or part of a Web site which is part of the Internet, commonly referred to as the World Wide Web are not taxable"

jmb, thanks for your help.
