MOD's wanted..

We are looking for a few good members that have been here for over 3 to 6 months and know this forum & our system very well.

We would like a little help on the forums with things like making up to-do lists, helping memebers, etc.

What you will get is a discount on any package you're on. If you're in the Orlando area this could possibly lead to something full time with Vortech Inc.

I have only been a matrix customer for two months now but I'm a quick learner. =) I check the forum often and I'd be happy to help in any way I can. Just let me know!

I've been with Matrix for about three months now and I check the forums daily. Wouldn't mind helping out, to be honest I would actually enjoy it, and getting a discount on top of it? I'm there!

I've played with the H-Sphere enough and know Matrix's policies to the extent that I would feel confident in being able to answer most questions.

I've also been an admin on one of the largest Counter-Strike gaming communities for about 6 months and would be able to provided references if needed.

mranderson,,, I've had a few email exchanges with you and I know your very qualified,,well spoken and knowledgable about H-Sphere... are you by any chance in Central Florida?

Thanks Craig, no at this time I'm in Ohio, so I'd be more interested in helping out on the message boards rather than working at Vortech. But that being said, I've already considered moving up to my own colocated servers as soon as it makes sense financially, very possibly with RapidColo, and if I did that I would consider moving to Florida to be nearer the datacenter and my servers. So, at some point in the future Florida may be a possibility. Just let me know how I can help out for now...

I'm also from Ohio,, and relocated here to Orlando in 1999.Thats funny. The best thing i ever did,, I worked for Brad at another company and we started Vortech in early 2000.

Garreg, mranderson, resellme what time zones are you guys in?

Also as backup to our curent system that tells us when some thing does go down would you guys be willing to call or send an email to one of our techs cell phones to let us know what is going on. Like a server has been down for more then 30 min and we have no posted or got it fixed to make sure we are aware of the problem. We would need to make sure this is not abused for small issues like hey my FP ext are not working

Let me know what you guys thing. I think you 3 would be the best for the job.

I am in Eastern time zone, same as you guys, BUT I'm always up by 6am and check email late into the night. Also, I have customers worldwide who can (and do) page me at any time when something goes wrong. I usually hear about things fairly quickly.

I would be happy to call/email Matrix any time I am aware of a problem you don't yet know about, and if you were clear on the criteria for when and when not to use that contact information, I would be happy to abide by your policy.

I'm still happy to help in this way and/or on the forums, so just let me know what I can do.

Pretty much the same as mranderson - have to be about as most of my clients are in different time zones.

I'm sure we could 'iron' out some sort of criteria to work along. Perhaps another thread for the 'Mods' only similar to the Matrix customers one (if its masked it will only be visible to us) might be an idea.... we could brain storm a few ideas, set a few guidlines and work things out amongst us....... ?

I'm in EST as well but you'll find me online during all hours. If something goes wrong that you guys don't know about I would be more than happy to let you know about it!

However I think it might be a good idea to setup a page where we can see the current problems that you are aware of and fixing so we don't all e-mail you about something you're already working on.

This is also something everybody might like to have access to so they can assure clients their problems are being worked on.
