Where do you register domain names: best/cheapest place?

I'm just curious about this....

I used to register all my domain names at directnic.com ($15/year), and they provide some good services that I like.

I have the majority of my domains are at Godaddy.com (around $6.95-$8.95/year). They offer multiyear discounts. Service has been good.

Anyone try 1and1.com? They offer $5.99/year domain names.

I've used OnlineNIC for some time now (finally achieved Platinum level) but they've gotten sporadically slow lately (interface, not updates). Pricing from $7.99 down to $6.69 for .com


...and yes, I do still shop at WalMart too

GoDaddy here. I just can't imagine using anyone else and their prices are more than reasonable.

I love the interface for managing domains.

Yeah onlinenic have been great for me, but becuase they are based in China and there was an earthquake in that region recently so connection to their serivce is terrible now. Otherwise i use namecheap.
