Date header in web mail?
I tried sending an email to someone... and it got returned with this error:
Remote host said: 550 5.7.1 missing Date: header as required by RFC 2822 section 3.6 |

did you send it just through your mail client? Are your SMTP settings set up to use your Vortech mail server or your ISP's SMTP server?
Also, did you try to send it again to see if it was a fluke? |

I believe this is a header your Mail Client is responsbile for... Make sure its RFC compliant and you dont have something else modifying it (AV, Firewall, etc.)

Same here!
I have the same problem! When I send an e-mail using @mail, the date field in the header is empty, causing some mail servers to not like it.
Can someone please research this problem and possibly post a fix. Thank you. |
