On the subject of Spam

Not quite sure how all this spam s*it works, but I am in the process of moving my accounts from another hosting provider. Since all of the domains I have seem to get a boatload of SPAM messages (mostly for viagra). I thought maybe there is something I can do when I transfer these accounts to make this less of a headache. Oddly enough, my clients claimed they never got so much spam until I started hosting their sites

Any magic configurations that I should be aware of when I set up my NEW matrix accounts? Any recommendations would be appreciated.

Sam

I seriously doubt that everyone started getting spam messages because they hosted with you, unless of course your previous provider sold your e-mail accounts or something crazy like that.

If the great spam filters here (in addition to filters you set up in Outlook) aren't enough, and you just want to stop that darn spam immediately, you might try SpamArrest:

http://www.spamarrest.com

I use them and I don't remember the last time I had to delete a spam message. There was an initial period of disbelief and confused feelings of being unloved (I'm not getting as many messages anymore!), but they have since been resolved through therapy.

I like them so much that I signed up as an affiliate, so if it pleases you, maybe you can enter my number when you sign up? Only if you don't mind.

Cool Thanks.

I will check this out - and if I do purchase, I will definately use your affiliate code. I'm kinda hoping this new law can help too! If it does, I might be needing the name of your therapist too
