Yes mail seems to be behind on emails... I'm sure they are looking at the problem and trying to clear it up.

We are getting similar problems. Mails are being sent. There are no bounce back. But they are not received by client, nor are they in the @Mail web mail system.
Clients are sending email, are not receiving authentication problems, but the emails are not being received by the recipients. This is not good, since we do not know how many of our clients are affected. I just sent a network systems engineer an hour one way to a client's office to see if there was a config issue on the desktop. Everything's fine on the desktop. So, it's gotta be the mail servers. |

One of the mail servers was clogged & the queue is now cleaning out. Mail service should return to normal shortly.

ok, we can have troubles, It is normal. But this type of mail issues is in regular basis...
My question is what action is accurate to take in order to prevent new problems with mail queue. I think may be, there are so much domain per mail server... I don't know... I want to hear some tech voice about this. As all, I would have a stable and eficient mail service. Thanks Martin |

I have a diferent problem that I didn't know anything until I recived this message from Google.
"Also, just to let you know, every email we send you is returned with a message saying it couldn't be delivered. This is a little strange since it seems like you've still gotten the messages, but you may want to look into it." Well I recived the messages but three days later, what I'm wondering is how many peolpe recived this message and think that I'm out of business or something? |

You have a "soft bounce" and subsequent delivery, which is the way sendmail and other MTAs work. Many mailers send DSNs for temporary failure. It's up to the recipient to read them as such... being temporary, that is.

Thanks Alex but not everyone is Unixorcist like you if Google didn't know what is going on, I'm sure some of my clients who by the way are "Idon'tknoworcist" are scratching their heads and say what is wrong with him,why he send my email back. Or this soft bounce my stop some of spamers not! no such luck stopping them.

Alex posted earlier regarding this issue:
http://www.matrixreseller.net/forum/...&threadid=6602 We had 2 spammers hit the mail server. Everything should be up & running normally. |
