Name Sevrer Problem with NS & NS1

I have domains registered with DnBuy.com. They do not have a method for me to register name servers online so they do it for me. However, they say that they cannot register names beginning with NS...., they must be NS1, NS2, ect. When my service account was created the DNS were assigned NS and NS1. Can I change these to whatever I want without losing the accounts setup under my service account and how do I do it?

I really don't understand why DnBuy cannot register the NS... nameserver? Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance

That is a weird problem, but shouldn't affect anything you've setup since the nameserver are not registered yet anyway.

Just login to your admin panel, click on emanager/server aliases and delete the 2 you have in there now. Then you can re-add them anyway you want using ns1 or ns2 etc..

Absolutely NS and NS* should be acceptable to any domain registrar as should be DNS and DNS* Very strange they don't accept it.

This Is Wierd Indeed But...

DnBuy.com somehow managed to resolve the problem when I threatened to change registrars. However, I appreciate the help on changing the nameservers within HSpere should I ever have to.

Thanks again,
