Account suspended. Help needed.
Hello,
I'm a Vortech Customer for more than two years. My username is faweb. I've updated my CC Info, Sadly I haven't received the email requesting the CC Verification (very odd, because my contact email works correctly). About ten hours ago I've noticed of the account suspension. Inmediatelly I've opened a support ticket, and Lisa tell me that I need to upload some documentation. (CC Front/Back and an ID) I've uploaded that info, Kimberly replies saying that I've missed the signature in the new card. That's OK. Inmediatelly I've signed the card and reuploaded the scanned image. I'm still waiting a reply from Lisa, Kimberly or somebody at Vortech. The last message of Kimberly says: "The Billing Dept is available 10am - 6pm ET daily " I can't wait to 10am, because my customers are calling asking about your sites and the "suspended" message. I've sent all the information, I'm a two years customers, and never had any payment problem. My only mistake was try to update my CC. I need help!

Sadly, this is a real problem. Had this happen to me over email address and almost over cc date change. I understand the importance, but I think a better method needs to happen. Regarding your cc all I can say is pay attention. I also almost lost a domain via registrar because of a poor notification regarding cc date change.

ouch, looks like your out of luck for about 11 hours now. try calling support, mabye someone will help until at least the next business day where you can work it out.....
We all understand the need to stop credit card fraud, gonna have to remember to send in all that info if I ever change my card. Mabye someone could maje a sticky message about that.

Tho a sticky woudn't hurt I really don't think it will help. This is something you have to do every few yrs so it is easy to forget. If you don't get a notice which you should then you only have 24hrs according to vortech. I know I didn't get 24hrs w/ the bad email address only a couple of hours , but I did get warning about cc info.

Closed, there is some details left out here. But we don't handle billing issues here on the forum. I am looking in to the issue to see if you can be unsuspended, before 10am tomorrow as long as you have done what billing asked you to do 30+ hours ago.

Your account is back on now, but it's best not to wait till an account is suspended to pitch a fit, you know. Also btw you don't live in the USA, you live in Argentina. I was in a good mood so I fixed that for you on your verification so it could be approved and your account back online. ![]() Please don't wait until the last minute to verify or not verify at all. Billing was not playing when they sent you that email 30+ hours ago about needing you to verify the new credit card. Sorry about the wait, but we did give over 24 hours after you contacted us to change the credit card. So its not like you were out of town or did not know you needed to verify the account. But the time difference can some times cause these issues. ![]() We will be adding a notice to the account(s) and also on the payment form that users will need to verify their info. We will try and give as much detail to make sure they get it right the first time. But it seems the more detail we give the more some seem to come up with to forget. But we do have some things in the works, to help stop this from happening. Post is closed. Good night.
