Multiple Accounts 1 CP URL?

Has anyone got a smart way to have a single CP URL used accross multiple accounts ? I'm sure I'm not the only user that has several reseller accounts, has anyone come up with any smart way to have all their accounts utilise the one CP URL ? I posted at psoft as well but no answer so far (don't really expect one actually as I'm pretty sure it's not possible currently with H-Sphere)

Don't know about now since H=Sphere was upgraded but I asked that when I joined in May and was told you cannot do it.

Sure would be great if we could.

Maybe I don't understand, but are you speaking of the URL to get to the login for HSphere?

short of writing some sort of db where you redirected the login info to the appropriate login page. altho this wouldnt work until you had added the clients login details to the db.

Yeah thats kinda along the lines I'm currently thinking, tell ya real pain in the arse and I'm sure I'm not the only one facing this situation.

Reason is if you look at almost all Companies offering Reseller plans their upgrade path is almost always non linear, eg just using Matrix as an Example

Cypher = 30Gb Traffic 1.5GB Disk $35
Zion = 100Gb Traffic 3GB Disk $100

Zion costs 285% more than Cypher, so you'd reasonably expect 285% more resources which you do in the case of Traffic, but not Disk disk its only 100% more. I've found Disk is probably the most critical factor in my hosting plans, its what I always seem to be running out of, so having multiple cypher accounts I end up getting a far better deal than having one or more Zion accounts. Of course you do then have the "hassle factor" of multiple accounts whereby you can't offer a single consolidated logon URL for the control panel beucase you have multiple service domains basically.

hmm yeah, maybe that's something matrix should address (restructuring of plans) then again it would be quite a hassel to do this wouldnt it.

perhaps rather than restructuring existing plans, come up with some new plans for those of us who need more disk/bandwidth instead of more ColdFusion (which is what the Zion seems to be partially geared towards).

Excuse me, I understand that prices aren't convenient when compared to the plans, but I think that in any case you can purchase extra bandwidth, disk space etc. for any plan. Probably this is the direction where matrix's marketing wants us to go towards.
I agree with jmbeach, maybe more "targeted" plans would be better because there is a large range of resellers with different needs.

That may be the case, but theres still no real incentive to buy traffic or disk Allessandro, its the same price whether you buy it or just incur it as an overage charge.

My problem actually is my Zion account is so screwy I've in a way been forced into buying a couple more Cyphers as well.

I understand. As you start growing knots come to the comb (...we use to say).
A linear upgrade toward a VERY BIG plan would be the best thing in order to grow ordinately.

as I just posted in another thread , i also have a fear of running out of IP's or require more bandiwth . so will keep a watch on this thread to see what do the matrix Admins say about re-shuffling of plans and resources if any

Most people I would expect simply upgrade to a higher plan, I'm just fussy about how I spend my hard earned $$$ being an ex-banker and all.
