apache on unix died and isn't restarting for some reason. Guess it's time to check the shared IP... |

Hello Again,
A simple reboot did the trick. The error was: [Sat Mar 12 15:28:06 2005] [crit] (48)Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to port 443 Not sure what ip it could have been. |

Didn't the same thing happen on the same or another server just the other day? Sounds to me like perhaps someones added IP's to a server and forgotten to cross them off your list of spare IP's.
Error was probably triggerd by someone trying to move their site to a dedicated IP in preperation for an SSL Cert hence the port 443 binding error maybe. |
