I am wanting to use an ASP shopping cart that requires the cart's folder to be set as an Application. Can I just submit a trouble ticket to get this done?
Thanks.

I would think so, if it's not by default already.

Root is already an "application" folder so you could run it out of there, otherwise yes just submit a TT to have a specific folder set.

If root is an application, do subfolders I create inherit that?

No. Each folder must be set application. An application folder is useful if you have mutiple Web.Config files or something... Technically you could do it all out of root but if you have many separate Apps running you might want sepearate folders for organization purposes.
Just submit a ticket with the typical information (Reseller username, End-User username, Domain) and the folder you want App'd. |
