Microsft Front Page Issues
Hey All:
Awhile back, I had a customer who could not get Front Page to work correctly. Due to security or something i was told, the client could not set the Permissions for a subdomain and make the section password protected. I had inquired about this before, and support and the posts advise that they would complete this task for me. Eventually I had to move this client since he was not satisfied with this arragnement and due to turn-over, needed acccess to update this file at least once a month. Has this changed or do clients still have to go through me to go to you in order for me to go through you in order to get their password protected websites updated? Thanks for any help, |

I am going to guess with the lack of replies that this situation still exists. Very disappointing.

The problem persists for accounts on Windows Plans, however, for Unix Plans, you can set your own permissions and passwords.
We're hoping this will be resolved in the latest update of H-Sphere that we're looking to upgrade to in the next couple of months. It's currently still in Beta testing. |

The issue is with H-Sphere, and the last I heard on this board was that H-Spehere is coming up with a new version that will allow this feature. Not sure as to the timeline of the new version.
