New win2k server is now online NT29.hsphere.cc. Remember to login to your reseller account and do this below:





Adding logical servers and server aliases:



1. Login into the admin control panel.

2. Click E.MANAGER

3. Click DNS Manager

4. Click edit button to the right of DNS zone

5. Click edit button to the right of your instant alias address

6. If there are logical servers that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Add records to all listed logical servers”

7. Click Server Aliases under E.MANAGER

8. If there are server aliases that need to be added, scroll to the bottom of the page click Submit.

9. Allow 4-12 hours for changes to take place.

10. We are adding servers on a regular basis.


Doing this 1 or twice a month will help keep everything up to date.


This server will be turned on within the next 24 to 48 hours.

You had setup the last two servers with windows 2003, why aren't you doing this on nt29 and mssql4 ?
Is there any problem?

Your a little behing things the Windows 2003 servers were regressed back to Windows 2000 becuase of all the problems they had with them. Going forward all new servers are going to be W2K for a while I believe.

Yes, we are sticking to Windows 2000 Server for now at least until 2003 SP1.
