FTP on Windows Server
Howdy All:
I have a client who needs a Windows Server, of course I have now obliged them. Everything is up and running, but one thing I noticed different from the Unix accounts is a listing for ftp.theirdomain.org is not listed for FTP service. Is it possible for them to have a ftp.theirdomain.com? Did I perhaps turn something off creating the package or do I need to create a CNAME for them? Thanks for any help or suggestions. |

No they should be able use ftp.theredomain.com as far as I know its just a DSN thing that points to domain.com

Yeah Brad's right. It's not actually required as a separate A record in the DNS becuase there is usually an * record created by H-Sphere which is like a "catchall" for DNS so don't panic becuase you don't see a host record for ftp.theredomain.com
