mySQL Server is unstable?

Just wondering if anyone else is getting the same problems as I.

On (216.157.129.254) mySQL Server, its been unstable. I've been getting db connection errors every so often.

Trouble tickets says its been fixed, but its always re-occuring. The reason is congestion of the servers (support said), but I thought bandwidth and disk space was allotted to prevent over use.

Anyway, I'm on NT19 server using mySQL.

When will this problem to fixed? It's been on-going for 3 days now and my visitors are complaining that they can't access the site during these "db error sessions".

DAY 1:

SUMMARY:
- First error occurred 7:58PM Sept 21, 2003 (Eastern time)
- Most recent error occurred 1:48AM Sept 22, 2003 (Eastern time)
- Continuous errors in between

That's way too many hours of down time.



DAY 2:
Started: Monday 22nd of September 2003 11:19:00 AM
Ended: Monday 22nd of September 2003 11:40:48 AM
A few other db errors during the day but not "session or block of errors" that blocks all access to the site.



DAY 3:
Started: 6:11pm today (sept. 23rd, 2003)
Ended: still going...


Visitors get this error:
There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.




Sigh... I can't tolerate it if this is continuous. When will the bug be fixed?

Though that doesn't really account for their problems on previous days. I do think something is wrong with this server, probably too many databases and probably drives that are completely fragged to heck causing extra work for the dbserver.

I'm getting more db errors again. Today it happened for 30minutes straight. No one could access the site.


And now, i'm getting a new problem.

My page won't even load now. It draws a blank and requires visitors to refresh MULTIPLE times to see the page.

I don't know what is going on.


In total, I think my site's been down for more than 2 hours this month due to database errors.

And this blank page problem is around all the time today.

I thought they had a 99.99% guarantee.

I did see an issue with a user just flooding mysql1 today.. I kicked them out of here and it seems to be better now..

Also make sure you use billing@vortechhosting.com for credits as the hsphere.cc domain is not used for much any more but for urls.
