Any other Kiwi

Any other of you kiwis getting really slow response times from the forum here ? I'm getting some pretty high tracert's to quite a few places outside NZ so I'm assuming it's not an ISP or Vortech issue, just wondering what things are like for you others.

yeah, it was down completely for me but is up again now (so were all my other sites, i think this was Matrix's router reboot, part of their move)
vixen, not the fruit but the bird (which kinda looks like the fruit with legs and a beak but surprise! no wings! (its flightless).
its our national emblem, unlike the fruit which is something we stole from the chinese (the chinese gooseberry) and renamed kiwifruit, but you guys all just call it a kiwi.

Since the entire network was down for over an hour everything on Vortech network is crawling along nice and slow

yeah i though it was just cause the routers came backonline and everyone was checking forums etc. seems to be ok now tho...

what was the delay on the routers? i mean i thought i was meant to be a 10-15 min job, sites were down for over an hour. (note im not complaining, just curious)

Actually has nothing to do with the "fruit"

btw I'm now starting to get complaints about response times from vortech servers, my own observations seem to backup the complaints as well.

Everything was loading fine 20 minutes ago because I was checking it from my home after they did the router move. I have no idea why it has gotten slow all of a sudden but they are looking into it.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. See, I learn when I ask questions. LoL When I hear Kiwi I think the fuzzy fruit that is why I asked.

I updated the move post on the new issue should not be long and should be all fixed in just a bit.. At least hope.. Starting to hate switchs already..

Thanks for the update, fingers crossed that solved the problem .. some pages are taking 15 or so seconds to load intermittently right now vs their normal 10th's of a second loading time.

This is how it acted last week when I made the post about my access being slow to the network. That day there was some sort of upgrade and everything was quick again... Now its back to the same. Not sure if that is any help or not but I thought I would let you know.

I know the Hsphere servers are back up but slower then the turtle in that one cartoon but I have no idea about cpanel servers. Have to tried to ping nocspeed.com?
