Help with IMP

Hey everybody,
I need some details on imp. I have had trouble finding info on imap and imp here or elsewhere(I have checked the orgs). Altho I am finding some and still researching, but I am having issues that could be me or something that needs configuring. Sooo....I am hoping some of my fellow resellers could donate some info for a relative newcomer to imap.

Imp works only w/ imap correct?
1. I cannot create folders. get err that folder name is incorrect. Is there a syntax I may not be using? Do I need to set up some info for this?
2. I also have to choose a server to use imp -->the mail.hsphere.cc ip is listed. Isn't there a better way.
3. What vs of imap is in use. Thought I saw 1.5 somethin. I thought IMAP was at vs 4 ?

I thought someone (somereseller?) mentioned setting up horde for customers. Can we do that on a reseller acct. or DS? Cause I didn't understand what he meant by that. I know psoft talks about changing programs, but hadn't read much and I thought only sysadmins could do this.

1. Wrong Designed for IMAP, but works with POP3. No folders with POP3 though.
2.If you install your own Horde, there is.
3.IMAP is at V4, but the IMAP server Matrix uses is at v 1.5

To clear things up a little....
As a reseller you can easily install Horde, but it won't replace your mail.domain.com, just don't give that address to your customers and use another one such as webmail.domain.com

Thanks for info! However can you elaborate on this installation of horde, as a reseller. Don't need to describe every detail, but the horde.org site is lacking. Maybe the mailing list is not
