Unix12 is under attack at the moment.

We are working on mitigating this attack.

On or around Sept 1, 2005, all our accounts on unix12 were corrupted. We had to recreate 7 osCommerce shopping carts! Now unix12 has been out of service for all morning and into the afternoon. This is the last interruption I can tolerate. I must get off unix12.
What provision do you have for automated transfer of accounts to another server?

There isnt much in the way of account transfer to other servers. you basically have to remove the account and recreated, hoping it gets put onto another server. The other way to do it is to transfer the account to another user, altho im pretty sure everything would stay on the same server.

Back in Sept. when I asked about this, I was told there was an automated process that might take as long as 3 to 5 days, but it could be done.

It may pay to just submit a trouble ticket to find out then

Unix12 is now answering requests, your sites should be functional at present, but we are still working onthe issue.

ANY server you get on can have a problem at any time. If someone/program attacks a server they can do it anywhere. The biggest sites in the world have had this happen.
