I am new here. I have tried other reseller hosting providers. But I like what I see here. I would like to know if anyone can help me with a guide in what would be good plan offering. I'm staring with the Cypher Plan.
If anyone interested in tutoring me with this. I am familiar with the setup stuff. Just need some plan examples so I don't have to keep changing stuff. |

The control panels the easy bit really, but it sounds to me like you need to ignore that for a little while and work out your business strategy.
What I would suggest is first of all start yourself off with a big blank piece of paper. Write down all the features that you get in the cypher plan e.g disk space, traffic, Cold fusion, additional IP's, sitestudio etc. Now have a think about what sort of market you want to appeal too, low value high volume hosting, or high value low volume hosting, do you want to appeal to a certain market ? perhaps pick one of the options and select that as your target market e.g Coldfusion Developers, or perhaps ASP.NET developers Then take a good look around the web at as many companies you can find that are targeting similar markets and make a note of what your eventual competition is doing. By now you should have about all the info you need to sit down and work out how best to structure your own plans so they are competitive in your selected target market. All you need to really do then is work out the plan basics How much disk space to offer How much additional disk space will cost How much traffic to offer How much extra traffic will cost to upgrade, and as an "overage" What features are going to be in the plans, php CF, ASP etc etc Bascially what your doing is building a business plan, once you've done all that your plans should just kinda "fall out the bottom of it" If you want more technical help on what all the options are in the control panel then this H-Sphere Resource Tree might be of use http://www.psoft.net/HSdocumentation...ourcetree.html |

For a low end plan I like 25MB of disk space, 3-5GB of bandwidth, 10MB email, 5MB MySQL, if you want more details on overages and all of that, I can give you some samples, but I will have to make them up on the fly, as I don't use the integrated billing system.
