Guys, you truly need to take a hard look at this issue. It is really hard to get anything done in the control panel because of the speed these days. Takes me forever just to answer a ticket.
Years ago they would occasionally shut down the cp to do a "database vacuum". I don't believe one has been done in a long time. You might want to consider taking it down for 6 hours and do that. Traditionally that has helped the speed and performance.

I too have had very slow page loads (CP and other pages). Although I have learned to live with this at Vortech, this is even slower than usual.
What I am concerned with is the obvious lack of interest in responding to this issue... or at least is letting us know what is going on. As many of you have mentioned, this is cutting into our productivity. |

CP is very slow. Today it takes around 20 mins after entering userid and pw. Facing slow speed of cp from last 3 month. But the problem is now increasing. In same time @mail / forum / vortechsupport.com working fast. Clients also complaining about that. If they have to change any email address password or to create new email accounts they need 15 mins for a single email account

Wow Meehmood, not seeing that at all today. Since the work earlier in the week its been zippy for me. Might want to check your trace to the server to see if it's a routing issue.

I spoke to Josh at Vortech about this. It is an issue that they are aware of, and the solution I was given was a reboot. However, this was the middle of the night, so it wasn't a really big deal...I'm not sure how that would translate to issues during the day.
Submit a ticket guys. I hate to suggest even MORE tickets than they already get, but my response was timely and Josh got me back up and running at full speed in no time. |
