Major security hole in phpmyAdmin

We all know that to use the link to phpmyadmin from the cp is unsafe, but the situation has worsen.

phpmyadmin has multiple vulnerabilities (some are of the same kind that Hsphere had/has).

There is no known fix, except to hire a web service provider that specializes in security to fix it asap.

A second temp solutions exists : changing all the links to phpmyadmin to less obvious installation dirs.

What will be done? Who will do it? How long will it take?
