No its not ready yet it will cost me about $5000 first to upgrade the webmail client to something this nice for all of you guys.. But I really don't mind as I think every one should have the best webmail there is. I will also be adding the SMS and Wireless stuff in to webmail as well. So you will be able to check your email via PDA or cell phone..

BTW there is also http://www.squirrelmail.org but I can't find a darn demo of the thing or sites that sell skins for it.. It would also work well if I could see it.. I just can't remember what the thing looked like or what it looks like now.

There were some screenshots on the squirrelmail website, doesn't look nearly as nice as atmail but I guess if it got a face lift it could be ok. One of the nice things I noticed about atmail (aside from it's stunning beauty) was that it had built in support for an antivirus solution. Would we be able to take advantage of that as well?

Thanks

Are we 100% sure there are no other similar products around ... personally I'm thinking $5K is rather expensive, maybe we can all help out here by doing some intensive searching as well.

Thumbs up Feeling good...

I believe your doing business in the correct way, hearing what customers have to say is a quality approach toward the market.
It's realy nice having to deal with you (admin) guys.

I agree about having a uniquewebmail system and the one you proposed is really cool. I'm following jmbeach: "Is it ready yet?"

Please don't loose sight about the mail.domain.com issue...

epostal is not bad, but that @mail is pretty darn nice lookin w/ lots of features.(explains the price tag) What features are being shopped for? For some web mail is critical to have for some it is not so critical. There is a lot out there. hmmm...... don't like squirrelmail tho.

I think @mail looks really nice, but it doesn't offer much more than the Horde framework which has many modules such as IMP (with GPG support) and MIMP, a mobile version of IMP.

Right As long as we, developpers, can install better webmail for our customers =)

The only thing I'm worried about is putting so much resources for a webmail when there are other urgent needs.
The antivirus plugin is nice but this should be deployed server wide not just for @mail (If this gets installed).
We still don't have secure POP3

What are the special backend stuff that Horde lacks?

Thumbs up Hehe...Good one

Shared hosting is all about illusions . If small customers see lots of secure items in your packages, they feel better.
(Bigger customers either get a dedicated server or lease DSL lines.)

But I did get quite a few questions from customers in order to know if I was vulnerable to the SSL flaw...

There is also another type of customers for SPOP, mobile phone users. Many of today's phones can easily fetch emails and they provide their own UI for managing messages. It's easier to use and more convenient than webmail over SSL.
