Documentation For Mailing Lists
Where can I find documentation for using the mailing list functions in the email section of the CP?
Thanks |

Try www.ezmlm.org for some, it's not specific to the CP implementation but does give you an idea how the software works.

Thanks,
You can also get some help with the commands just by sending an email to: <maillist-help@yourdomain.com>. A help email will be returned to you. Now, how do I get it to send out html(with my logo) email? |

Ok. Figured out that to send html email with images just reference them from your site: ex. <img src="http://yourdomain.com/images/logo.gif>.
Most mailing scripts I've installed will send out a few emails and then choke so everyone on the list doesn't get processed. A cron job may remedy this. Will maillist choke if the email lists are large? If so, will it try again and process the rest of the list automatically? I'm trying to send out newsletters without using a monster like PHPlist that the guys at Vortech may consider a rouge script if everyone starts using it! Do you, or anyone else know of a free script with tracking that is acceptable? Thanks for the help, Gregg in Myrtle Beach, SC |
