How to Blacklist countries from Plan sign-ups?

Hi - Just had a weird sign-up from a fake user, who exploited some of my "hidden" plans. Looks like my "Moderate Everything" option is going back ON again, but I've got a related question:

I'm trying to use the "Countries" option under the "Blacklist" section of the "Moderate Signups" area...

What is a country code? Is that the two letter initials? If so, what's the code for VietNam?

VietNam by the way has been a source of trouble for me, not only with this latest sign-up exploit but also in hacking one of my clients' sites - and I've heard that a huge amount of hacking is originating from there lately - so I'd just like to block the whole shibang if I can...

Oh, and by the way - if you haven't already, just turn on the "Moderate Everything" option for your hosting plans -OR- make sure that your paid/public plans are the ONLY ones with available sign-up links AND that you've configured caps, maximums, limits and overage fees -- this hoax sign-up of mine had also set his account to use about 15 Terabytes of bandwidth and disk space - which *I* would have had to pay if I hadn't caught him within 5 minutes of his sign-up.

The country code for Vietname is VN. You can also block them by IP and email address. We tend to see the same IPs and emails used on alot of the fraudulent signups. The only thing that tends to change is the credit card information.

Also keep in mind that "moderate everything" does not moderate signups to plans "Without Billing". Make sure that you have signup access turned OFF to these plans when you are not actively signing up an account. You can also limit access to signups by using the "Access" option next to the plan name and restrict it to Admin User. You can then only signup to the plan from the Admin Control panel under "Signup".

I have quite a few countries in there now. I was wondering if this checked the IP Address that the user is signing up with or the country that they designate in the signup process? I did see that you can require the IP to match the country in the sign up guard. Just wondered if they're related. Psoft is on the ball.

Hsphere does check the IP and the sign up information and will tell you if the Remote Country Code does not match the billing and/or contact information.

Anyway to block these globally, or can you list the IP's so we can block them ourselves before getting hit with fraudulent signups from known culprits?

There are A LOT of IPs and emails that we have blocked over the years and listing the information would me an undertaking for us and anyone who wanted to sort through it. People that we see signing up with resellers that we know are fraud accounts, we will contact the reseller and/or make a post here also.
