I am suprised I haven't seen any Matrix theme'd ones yet....if you look at the old ones they didn't really match the site much.

the matrix theme isn't really the 'brand' of the organization (from my perspective). It is just a naming convention for the plans, etc.

I think keeping the banners in line with the visual brand of the site emphasizes that you guys are THE HOSTING PROVIDER and not just a reseller that caters to other resellers.

brand consistency is a huge part of my team's philosophy as we do a lot of digital development based on an existing printed identity.

While this is true, marketing is marketing, I mean SUV commericals show them off road and how they can climb mountains yet they rarely ever do those things.
