I am going to need some new banners for my site in the very near future, so I will be checking out who the submissions are made by.

I was the designer of the first 2 banners ... just want to say that Brad definitely make good his promise previously and gave 6 mths free hosting. The prizes are really attractive this time round.

What's the closing date? multiple entries allowed?

I would say less then a month, yes you can submit as many as you want..


I liked the ones you did still, would you happen to want to update them for now for a Free Month? I forgot who won the last time.. LoL

i am with you on flash ramjet... you can get a lot more in a banner with very little overhead when done properly--not to mention they look alot better.

think about where they'll be using these - not that many link shares that I can think of that will accept flash, for the obvious compatibility reasons. Sure the majority of computers can play flash, but it's the equivalent of only programming your web pages to work with Internet Explorer. Sooner or later you're going to lose a potential visitor because they use Netscape and your site crashes Netscape.

Always better to have wider acceptance.

Besides, why not just use the 'save as animated gif' feature in flash. Then you can build it in flash and still get the gif.
