Mail1 Queue - over 12,000
wondering what's up with mail1... queue is still rising - has been for past couple of hours.
HELP! I'm no expert - or even a novice for that matter - on mail servers, but when it gets that high in such a short period of time, why isn't the server shut down completely while the source of these messages is located? It seems like mail1 is the only server that gets hit with these spikes. Last edited by jmbeach : 02-24-2004 at 09:35 PM.

Already onto it. Had a bit of a problem with our wall monitor so it took us a bit longer than usual to catch it.

Stabilised it around 16K, now falling. Still nothing about what got it up there in the first place.
