What OS do you use?

I am trying to get a feel for the people who browse this forums.

What operating system do you use?
Tell us what you use and why you use it. Thanks

Josh

Thats the fun part - Its easy if you follow the guide. It kinda serves as a great introduction to Unix. Lets you partition the drives and all.. There are 3 levles of install you can do. I like Stage1 build it all up from scratch.

yeah i agree the documentation is really good. i think i did it from stage 1 or 2. cant quite remember. the only trouble i had was that the mobo had built in everything so i couldnt install X cause it wont detect the video stuff, mind you it did detect the network which made life a tad easyer. oh well is fine for learning how to use the consol.

Os

I use Win 2K for the bulk of my work, but have Linux (RedHat) loaded on my PC as well. My laptop is a Mac Powerbook with Os X (Jaguar).
I'm prepared for anything...
