Trouble registering dns servers

I'm having a problem registering my dns servers. I am a new customer, so as such, my current dns servers are not registered as the vortech servers. When I try to change the IP address of ns1 to the vortech IP I get the following error message from GoDaddy:

Error: Parameter value policy error -IP ADDRESSES ARE NOT UNIQUE - 65.57.231.100

I was on the phone with GoDaddy and they didn't seem to have an answer.

Also, when I try to add ns (which I don't currently have setup) I get the following error message from GoDaddy:

Error: Parameter value policy error -IP ADDRESS NOT AVAILABLE - 65.57.231.100

Can anyone shed some light on this problem? I've done this many times before and can't understand why it's not working!

Some TLDs, such as .biz, do not let you have shared IP for nameservers.

You have two options:
1) Use another TLD
2) Upgrade to at least the Neo plan, which gives you unique IPs for your namkeservers.

Nevermind, I had to delete all aliases, remove my cp SSL, delete my service domain hosting, my prefix, then I was able to delete the service domain and basically just add a dot com, then add my .biz. I then used my .com for the dns aliases, and the .biz for all the other aliases, just like before.

It does ? I assume with some intervention somewhere is required to make this happen. I didn't see any way of allocating different IP's for the name servers anywhere when we upgraded to Zion 6 months ago.

Brangwyn, They are supposed to have dedicated IPs for nameservers now, not sure if they get allocated that way with an "upgrade" or not.

Might try setting up another zone later then and see what happens.
